1. What we collect
Account data: your email address and hashed password (or your Google/X identity if you sign in with them). Content data: the prompts you write, optional reference photos you upload, your brand description, and the reels and posts generated for you. Usage data: credit balance, generation history, and basic technical logs needed to run and protect the Service (such as rate-limit counters). We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
2. How we use it
To operate the Service: authenticate you, generate the content you request, maintain your library and credit balance, prevent abuse, and send transactional emails (confirmation, receipts). We do not sell your personal data.
3. Who processes it
Your data is processed by the infrastructure we run on: Supabase (database, authentication and hosting of your library) and fal.ai (the AI models that turn your prompts and reference photos into videos and images — prompts and reference images are sent to them to fulfil your request). If we add payments, your card details will be handled by the payment provider (such as Stripe) and never touch our servers. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.
4. Sharing controls
Your content is private by default. “Link only” makes an item viewable by anyone who has its link but keeps it out of search engines. “Public” makes its share page indexable by search engines. You can change visibility or delete an item at any time.
5. Cookies and storage
We use browser storage only to keep you signed in and remember preferences (like “Remember me” and a pending referral code). No cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Retention and deletion
Deleted reels and posts sit in “Recently deleted” for 15 days, then are removed. You can request full account deletion at any time and we will erase your account data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention (for example, payment records).
7. Your rights
You may request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@magicreels.com from your account email. If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or a jurisdiction with similar rights, these requests are honored under those laws.
